was internationally awarded the Star of Paris 2006 for its dedication to quality. This is an international award for dedication, quality, leadership, technology and innovation.

The award ceremony took place at the congressional palace in Paris on September 25, 2006. The event was presided over by Jose E. Prieto, president and general manager of Business Initiative Directions (BID). In addition to Mr. Prieto, there were many other important figures in attendance from business and diplomatic networks of Paris.
The BID symbol has become known in 173 countries around the world and has set a firm ground for the implementation of QC100 quality control management regulations. These regulations are a result of technology and procedures assistance. The purpose of this twentieth international convention was to recognize awarded companies for dedication to quality of which activities cover the main areas of industrial manufacturing and services.
Taking the words of Jose E. Prieto, general manager of BID, "The awarded companies symbolize the dedication to leadership, technology, and innovation, which makes them an example to other companies in their industry."
QC 100
The international award for quality, given out by Business Initiative Directions, is based on dedication to the criteria of QC 100 TQM (Total Quality Management) regulations. These regulations serve as a guide to company leaders to improve processes and systems.
Total quality management is an organized approach to buyer satisfaction, part of which is represented by buyers and people in general. In addition, it is a tool to constantly improve processes. There are many other definitions with one main goal: to achieve buyer satisfaction through buyer participation. All definitions function to follow these basic principles.

Total quality management (TQM) is a business perception of management quality. Through TQM, we can establish a measurement in relation to the total quality control which was the predecessor and competition of TQM.
Larger companies dedicated to TQM programs can hire a manager or person responsible for quality. With smaller companies, a general manager or owner is responsible for meeting the quality requirements. There are many views of successful implementation of a TQM program and sometimes require months and even years of completely implementing TQM. This also includes the appreciation and dedication of every employee. Here are some keys to successful TQM programs for smaller companies:
